About Ozark Mule Days -

When you think of the Ozarks the first things that you think about are the mountains, fresh water springs, Trout fishing, Bass Pro Shops, the call of a Tom Turkey on an early spring morning and one other thing that has begun to pick up interest is the "Ozark Mule Days." Held right in the heart of the Ozarks in Ozark, Missouri, this little town is in one of the fastest growing counties in Missouri and still holds true to its country roots with the small town atmosphere and hospitality. Located just 30 miles north of the famous Branson, Missouri and all the country music, shows, food, and entertainment that you can think of.

It's hard to describe Ozark Mule Days. It is part mule show, part test of skills and part Mule Madness. During the three day event there will be daily shows consisting of halter classes, western pleasure, gated mules, running mules, barrels and poles, cowboy mounted shooting, and just about anything you can think of a mule can do. A multitude of fans are expected to converge on the City of Ozark to watch the events and visit the exhibitors.

The Friday and Saturday night show will demonstrate the many skills of the mule and its rider and fill the main arena with excitement for the whole family. Mule owners are determined to prove that anything a good horse can do a good mule can do better! From trail riding to show classes, mules can do it all with the grace that is unique to these animals. Donkey exhibitors will also compete - determined to outdo each other in costumes, wagons and riding apparel. It's a show like no other.

Letter from the Chairman

I just wanted to send out a "Thank You" to all the people who helped in the past to make this show such a great success. I'm going to make a pledge to everyone to make this years show one that you won't want to miss. I'm personally putting over $5,500 in prize money. I've talked to a lot of participants over the past 5 months after the last show, and one thing you all wanted to see was more pay-out—.well, here it is. I'm even lowering the prices for stalls and entry fees, and trying to make this an event that every family out there can afford to come to and have a good time. I would really like to hear your feedback, letting me know what you would like to see at this years show. You can contact me at chairman@ozarkmuledays.com.

I promise you this...we are going to have fun.

Once again, Thanks for all the past support and I'm looking forward to this years show.
